Quiche
Try this easy recipe for a quick and delicious snack. Feel free to customize some of the ingredients to suit your taste.
Warning: Gluten, Eggs, Dairy!
Ingredients
- 1 finely chopped Onion
- Some Oil to Saute
- 1 Tbsp of Oil
- 3 Eggs
- 1/2 cup of Self Raising Flour
- 1 1/4 cups of Milk
- 1/2 Cup of Sliced Mushrooms (Optional)
- 1 Cup of Grated Cheddar Cheese (Optional)
- 1 Tbsp of Pesto or Chutney (Optional)
- 2 Tbsp of freshly chopped parsley (Optional)
- 3 pieces of Broccoli (Optional)
- 1 Feta (Optional)
- Some meat (Optional)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degC.
- Place the finely chopped onion in a frying pan with a little oil.
- Cook gently for a few minutes, then place the sliced mushrooms and meat (rind removed and chopped) in the pan and cook for a few minutes until softened.
- Place all remaining ingredients (except broccoli) into a large bowl and whisk, or into a large food processor bowl and whirl for 30 seconds.
- Add cooked onion and mushroom mix, then the broccoli sliced into thin pieces (optional).
- Pour into a hot, greased 23cm quiche dish and bake for 45 minutes.
